-The proposed rule for MSB specs was published today. Comments are due Dec 15, 5pm EST. Go to http://www.greateratlantic.fisheries.noaa.gov/regs/2014/November/14msb2015174specspr.html for details.
-The New England Fishery Management Council (NEFMC) is conducting public hearings to solicit comments on its Omnibus Habitat Amendment. The Amendment will address habitat requirements for all NEFMC Fishery Management Plans. Click http://www.nefmc.org/management-plans/habitat for details about the Amendment and a full list of hearings can be found at http://s3.amazonaws.com/nefmc.org/Habitat-Public-Hearings-2.pdf. Written comments must be received on or before Jan 8, 5pm EST (there are instructions for commenting at the bottom of the list of hearings).
