NOAA Fisheries Announces Revisions to the Butterfish Mortality Cap Allocation and Butterfish Mortality Cap Methodology; Effective Date: March 5, 2013. http://www.nero.noaa.gov/nr/2013/March/13msbfw7phl.pdf
In order to accommodate the new directed butterfish fishery, NOAA Fisheries is changing the butterfish mortality cap on the longfin squid fishery from a catch (landings and discards) to a discard only cap. This change is reflected in a revised butterfish mortality cap methodology available on our website at http://www.nero.noaa.gov.
