Discussions > Hurricane Sandy impacts to NY fishing industries & federal assistance - Discussion at MRAC Meeting 1/15/13
The next meeting of the Marine Resources Advisory Council will take place on 15 January 2013 at 2:00 pm at DEC's offices in East Setauket, New York. Most of the meeting will be devoted to a presentation by NMFS on the surveying of Hurricane Sandy-related storm damage to New York's marine fisheries and fisheries infrastructure and the process and prospects by which federal dollars will flow to the State to compensate these damages. Please try to spread the word regarding this discussion among your fishing colleagues; we would like to have as full a house as possible next Tuesday.
