NOAA Fisheries and the Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council are holding a public webinar to evaluate whether any changes to the butterfish mortality cap methodology are warranted for the 2013 fishing year. The webinar will include a presentation of analysis completed thus far on various options for changing the methodology used to monitor the butterfish mortality cap throughout the fishing year. While no final decisions will be made during the webinar, the public will have the opportunity to comment on the analysis completed thus far.
